Resources

ResourcesA key component of the Global Initiative is providing participants with the tools to identify, understand, and address breast cancer needs in their communities.  Together, Global Initiative networks have compiled breast cancer information and resources to help inform their communities, and other key stakeholders, about the breast cancer situation in their countries. The development of a Community Profile and compilation of information on local programs and resources have enabled participants to implement innovative programs customized to address local needs and raise the visibility of breast cancer needs.

Community Profiles

The goal of the Community Profile is to:

  • Assess breast cancer needs and resources of the community in question
  • Define priorities and objectives for future action that will address those needs
  • Inform the work of breast cancer organizations and activists
